How to Patch Test Your Binding Tape
- Apply the sample to a small area of clean, dry, unbroken skin, such as your inner arm.
- Leave it in place for 24 hours, monitoring for redness, itching or discomfort. Remove immediately if irritation occurs.
- Gently remove the tape using a skin-safe oil or adhesive remover, and continue monitoring for delayed reactions.
A successful patch test doesn't guarantee that your skin won't react during future use, but it can help you make a more informed decision.
